A major highlight of the period was the formal launch of the Authority’s Five-Year Strategic Plan, which provides a clear and structured roadmap for strengthening capacity, enhancing operational efficiency, and upgrading port infrastructure across the country. Central to this agenda is the decongestion of the Freeport of Monrovia which is essential to improving cargo flow, reducing vessel turnaround time, and expanding service capacity to meet growing trade demands.
