Technical Dept
Provides engineering and technical support for NPA infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The department helps plan, inspect, maintain and improve civil, electrical, mechanical and other technical assets required for reliable port operations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise maintenance and rehabilitation of port infrastructure, buildings, utilities and technical systems.
- Prepare technical scopes, specifications, estimates and engineering inputs for works and equipment procurement.
- Conduct inspections and condition assessments and maintain technical asset information.
- Monitor contractors and verify technical quality, progress and compliance with approved specifications.
- Support preventive-maintenance programmes for critical infrastructure and equipment.
- Provide engineering advice for capital projects, emergency repairs and operational improvement initiatives.
