Seafarers Dept
Supports administration and welfare-related matters concerning seafaring personnel engaged in NPA marine operations. The department helps maintain appropriate personnel records, assignments, competency information and operational readiness for marine crews under the Authority’s responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain records of seafaring personnel, qualifications, certificates, assignments and availability.
- Coordinate crew deployment and administrative requirements for NPA marine activities.
- Track competency, medical, training and certification requirements applicable to assigned seafarers.
- Support welfare, leave and personnel matters in coordination with Human Resources and marine management.
- Maintain duty and service records required for operational planning and accountability.
- Support compliance with applicable maritime labour, safety and personnel requirements within NPA responsibilities.
