Liberia Seaport Police Dept
Provides law-enforcement and protective-security support within NPA port areas. The department helps protect people, cargo, vessels, infrastructure and Authority property while supporting access control, incident response and coordination with national security agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain policing and security presence within designated NPA port areas.
- Support access control, patrols, traffic management and protection of restricted or sensitive locations.
- Respond to security incidents, suspected offences, disturbances and threats within port jurisdiction.
- Protect cargo, infrastructure, staff, visitors and Authority property in coordination with other security functions.
- Collect incident information and coordinate referrals or joint action with competent national law-enforcement agencies.
- Support emergency, crowd-control and major-event security arrangements affecting port operations.
