Governmental and International Affairs Dept
Coordinates NPA’s formal relationships with Government institutions, international partners and intergovernmental stakeholders. It supports protocol, institutional representation, cooperation agreements and follow-up on matters that require cross-government or international coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate official engagement with ministries, agencies, diplomatic missions and international organisations.
- Prepare briefs, correspondence and follow-up actions for governmental and international meetings.
- Support negotiation and administration of cooperation arrangements and institutional partnerships.
- Coordinate protocol and official visits involving foreign delegations, government officials and port-sector partners.
- Monitor relevant regional and international port, trade and maritime initiatives and brief management.
- Maintain records of institutional commitments and track actions arising from inter-agency or international engagements.
