Gender and Social Inclusive Unit
Promotes gender equality, accessibility and social inclusion within NPA programs, employment practices and stakeholder engagement. The unit supports inclusive policy implementation and helps ensure that institutional initiatives consider the needs of women, persons with disabilities and other groups that may face barriers.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on gender-responsive and socially inclusive policies, programmes and workplace practices.
- Support collection and analysis of disaggregated data relevant to inclusion and equal opportunity.
- Coordinate awareness activities addressing discrimination, harassment, accessibility and inclusive participation.
- Review selected projects and community initiatives for social-inclusion considerations.
- Support referral and follow-up of inclusion-related concerns through appropriate institutional channels.
- Engage relevant government, civil-society and development partners on gender and social-inclusion initiatives.
